Practice Information

Masking is now optional but may be reinstated in the future if COVID-19 or other situations worsen. If you have a fever, cough, diarrhea or other flu-like symptoms, please wear a mask in the building to protect patients and staff.

We do not accept walk-ins. All appointments are scheduled via phone or online. We do offer a limited number of same-day appointments for urgent issues. Call first thing in the morning or follow the booking link on your doctor’s page to schedule one.

i) Phone booking is available for all appointment types. A limited number of same-day appointments are available, you must call first thing in the morning to request a same-day appointment.
ii) Dr. Ceponis now has online booking available for a select number of urgent, same-day, single issue appointments. See his page for booking links.
iii) In case of emergency call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

We ask that patients 18 years of age and older call to book their own appointments.

There is no fee at this time for cancellations or no shows on regular appointments. No shows for urgent same-day appointments will result in a fee of $20 charged to you at the time of your next appointment.
Repeated missed appointments may also result in dismissal from the practice. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment please call to inform the office as soon as possible.

No, health care is regulated provincially. Ontario family doctors cannot see/roster you unless you are an Ontario resident. If you are moving out of the province you must find a family physician in your area.

Ask your pharmacy to send us a renewal request. Allow at least one week for prescription refill. Otherwise, please book a non-urgent appointment well ahead of finishing your current prescription.

Yes, you must book an appointment in order to review your results. Results are not provided by reception over the phone. Your doctor will contact you only if a result needs urgent discussion.

No, the Canadian Task Force on Preventative Health Care recommends targeted exams for men and women based on age.

Flu shots are available in the fall every year, and can be administered by your doctor or at participating pharmacies. Please notify the office if you receive your flu shot elsewhere so your immunization record can remain up-to-date.

In order to receive the publicly funded Shingrix® shingles vaccine you must meet certain provincial criteria.

This uninsured service is not offered in our clinic at this time. You can seek travel medicine support at dedicated travel medicine clinics. These can be found through an online search.
